Accommodation

What better place to do this than in the heart of the Alps? Val d’Isère is a lively, year-round town and the perfect base for The Chalet Kitchen. In the summer, it transforms into a breathtaking alpine playground – alive with wildflowers, sparkling lakes, and long sunny days.

Quieter than the busy ski season but still buzzing with atmosphere, Val d’Isère offers everything from world-class hiking and biking trails to open-air cafés and local markets. It’s a place where you can learn, train, and immerse yourself in the spirit of the mountains.

Our chalets are just a stone’s throw from stunning hikes and panoramic views that will take your breath away. You can explore, recharge, and experience life in the Alps – the same setting where you’ll soon be welcoming guests as a professional chalet host.

Each student stays in their own, private room. All the rooms have balconies, which open up to a perfect view of the mountains. Take it from us, there’s almost no better way to start your day! Each room has twin beds and ensuite bathrooms, giving you all the privacy and comfort you need. Linen, towels and wifi are all provided for your stay.

The kitchens and dining rooms are flooded with sunlight. We’ll sink into the large, comfy sofas each evening to review the day’s training and to plan the evening’s events. Plus, the kitchens are used throughout the winter for guests, so you’ll be getting a genuine experience of what it could be like to cook in a real chalet kitchen.

The location could not be better, close to the beating heart of Val d’Isère, just around the corner from shops, bars and restaurants. It’s all within easy walking distance with fantastic views of the surrounding mountains and alpine scenery, no matter which way you turn.

The vibrant nightlife in Val d’Isère makes it a hot spot in both summer and winter alike. Whilst some bars and restaurants close for the quieter season, there are still plenty to enjoy and make memories in.

Though quieter than in the winter, Val d’Isère in the summer is an action packed location. With glacier skiing, amazing mountain biking, hiking, rock climbing and horse riding to name a few of the available activities. The ski lifts operate in the summer, providing access to the peaks and to lunch or a drink in traditional mountain restaurants.
